A for loop is a type of iterative statement. There are three parts in a for loop header: the initialization, the Boolean expression, and the update.

An array stores multiple values of the same type. The values can be either primitive values or object references.

An ArrayList object is mutable in size and contains object references.

The literal null is a special value used to indicate that a reference is not associated with any object. Reference types can be assigned a new object or null if there is no object.

Recursive method
A recursive method is a method that calls itself. Recursive methods contain at least one base case, which halts the recursion, and at least one recursive call. Recursion is another form of repetition.

Superclass and subclass
A class hierarchy can be developed by putting common attributes and behaviors of related classes into a single class called a superclass. Classes that extend a superclass, called subclasses, can draw upon the existing attributes and behaviors of the superclass without rewriting them in the code. This creates an inheritance relationship from the subclasses to the superclass.

Object vs. class
An object is a specific instance of a class with defined attributes. A class is the formal implementation, or blueprint, of the attributes and behaviors of an object.

How does the scheduling work?

Rycal uses SM-2 spaced repetition: after each flashcard you rate it Still Learning or Know, and your ratings decide when that card comes back. Add your exam date to the Test Planner and pacing compresses unit by unit as the test approaches — nothing is ever scheduled past test day.

Do I need an account to start?
